Exporting Reports
Exporting your experiment reports allows you to take your Bluvia results outside of WordPress for further analysis, reporting, or sharing with your team.
An exported report can be useful when you need to document experiment performance, combine results with other business data, or share findings with clients and stakeholders who don’t have access to your WordPress dashboard.
Why Export a Report?
Your experiment results remain available within Bluvia, but there may be times when you need a separate copy of the data.
You may want to export a report to:
- Share experiment results with your team.
- Provide results to a client or stakeholder.
- Perform additional analysis outside of Bluvia.
- Include experiment results in internal reporting.
- Maintain records of completed experiments.
- Compare results with other marketing or business data.
Exporting an Experiment Report
To export your results:
- Open your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to Bluvia ā Test Library.
- Open the experiment you want to review.
- Select the Export option from the ellipses at the top right of the page.
- Export the report.
Bluvia will generate a copy of the available experiment data that you can use outside of the experiment report.
What’s Included in an Export?
The information available in an exported report depends on the experiment and the reporting data available at the time of export.
Your export may include information such as:
- Experiment details.
- Control and Variant information.
- Visitor counts.
- Conversion totals.
- Conversion rates.
- Experiment performance data.
- Experiment status.
Use the report alongside your experiment notes and hypothesis to provide additional context about what was tested and why.
When Should You Export a Report?
You can export experiment data while a test is running or after it has been completed.
For finalized reporting, we recommend exporting your results after you’ve finished evaluating the experiment. This gives you a more complete record of the data used to make your optimization decision.
You may also want to export reports at important milestones when an experiment is running for an extended period.
Sharing Experiment Results
When sharing an exported report, include context about the experiment rather than relying on the numbers alone.
Consider documenting:
- What was tested.
- The hypothesis behind the experiment.
- The Conversion Goal.
- How long the experiment ran.
- The winning Variant, if applicable.
- What you learned.
- What action was taken as a result.
This makes the report more useful to someone who wasn’t directly involved in creating or managing the experiment.
Keep Your Experiment History in Bluvia
Exporting a report doesn’t replace your experiment history within Bluvia.
Your Bluvia experiment library remains the primary place to review experiments and their results. Exports are most useful when you need to work with or communicate that information outside of WordPress.
