Website & License Connections

Bluvia A/B Testing Premium connects your WordPress website to a license associated with your Bluvia A/B Testing account.
Website connections are initiated from WordPress. You don’t need to manually add or assign a website from your Bluvia A/B Testing account dashboard.

How a Website Gets Connected

When setting up Bluvia A/B Testing Premium, the connection begins from your WordPress website.
The general process is:
  1. Install and activate the Bluvia A/B Testing Premium Plugin.
  2. Begin the connection from your WordPress dashboard.
  3. Sign in using your Bluvia A/B Testing account.
  4. Complete the account verification process.
  5. Bluvia A/B Testing identifies an available license associated with your account.
  6. The license is connected to the WordPress website.
Once connected, the website can use the Premium capabilities available through that license and plan.
You don’t need to copy and paste a license key into WordPress or manually assign the website from your account dashboard.

One Website Per License

Each license can be connected to one website at a time.
If you have multiple websites that need Bluvia A/B Testing Premium, you’ll need an available license for each connected website.
Your Bluvia A/B Testing account can contain multiple licenses, including multiple licenses for Bluvia A/B Testing.

Viewing Your Connection

You can view your website connection from the Bluvia A/B Testing account dashboard.
Open License from the account navigation to see your available licenses.
For each license, you can review information such as:
  • Plugin
  • License ID
  • Plan
  • Connected website
  • License status
Select Manage for a license to view additional details.

Connected License Details

When a license is connected to a website, its detail page provides information about both the license and its current website connection.
Depending on the available information, you may see:
  • License key
  • License status
  • Plan
  • Connected website
  • Plugin version
  • WordPress version
  • Connection date
  • Last check-in
This can be useful when confirming which website is currently using a particular license or troubleshooting a connection.

Available Licenses

A license that isn’t currently connected to a website is Available.
Available licenses can be used when connecting Bluvia A/B Testing Premium from a WordPress website.
You don’t need to assign the website to the available license from the Bluvia A/B Testing dashboard first.
Start the connection from WordPress and authenticate with the Bluvia A/B Testing account that owns the license.

Disconnecting a Website

You can disconnect a website when you no longer want that site associated with the license or when you want to use the license on another website.
When you disconnect a website:
  • The website loses access to the Premium capabilities provided by that license.
  • The license becomes available for another website.
  • You can connect the available license to another WordPress website.
Disconnecting a website does not automatically cancel the associated subscription.
This distinction is important: disconnecting controls where the license is being used, while canceling a subscription controls billing and renewal.

Moving a License to Another Website

If you want to move a license from one website to another:
  1. Disconnect the license from the currently connected website.
  2. Confirm that the license now shows as Available.
  3. Install and activate the Premium Plugin on the new WordPress website.
  4. Begin the connection from WordPress.
  5. Authenticate using the Bluvia A/B Testing account that owns the available license.
  6. Complete the connection.
The license can then be associated with the new website.

Licenses vs. Subscriptions

Licenses and subscriptions are related, but they serve different purposes.
Licenses determine which website can use the Premium Plugin and its available capabilities.
Subscriptions control billing, renewals, and the plan associated with your purchase.
If you want to change which website uses a license, manage the license connection.
If you want to manage billing, renewal, or cancellation, use Subscriptions in your Bluvia A/B Testing account.

If a Website Won’t Connect

If you’re unable to connect a website, check that:
  • The Premium Plugin is installed and activated.
  • You’re signing in with the correct Bluvia A/B Testing account.
  • Your account has an available license.
  • The license isn’t already connected to another website.
  • The authentication and verification process completed successfully.
If a license is already connected elsewhere, disconnect that website before attempting to use the license on a different site.
