Setting Up Bluvia A/B Testing Premium
Bluvia A/B Testing can be used directly from WordPress with the standard plugin, or connected to your Bluvia A/B Testing account for access to Premium capabilities.
You only need to set up Bluvia A/B Testing Premium if you want to use features that require the Premium Plugin and a connected account.
Standard vs. Premium
The standard Bluvia A/B Testing WordPress Plugin gives you access to the core experimentation experience directly within WordPress.
You can create and run unlimited simultaneous experiments with the standard plugin.
Bluvia A/B Testing Premium extends the available capabilities and connects your WordPress website with your Bluvia A/B Testing account.
Premium is required for additional test types and features that depend on this connection.
When Do I Need Premium?
You need the Premium Plugin when you want to use Premium-only capabilities, including Global and Advanced test types.
If you’re only using the test types and functionality available in the standard WordPress Plugin, you don’t need to connect a Bluvia A/B Testing account to continue experimenting.
This allows you to start testing directly in WordPress and add Premium capabilities when you need them.
How Premium Setup Works
Setting up Bluvia A/B Testing Premium connects three parts of the experience:
Your WordPress Website ā Bluvia A/B Testing Premium Plugin ā Your Bluvia A/B Testing Account
The general setup process is:
- Create or sign in to your Bluvia A/B Testing account.
- Install and activate the Premium Plugin on your WordPress website.
- Bluvia A/B Testing verifies your account and available license.
- The license is connected to the WordPress website.
- Premium capabilities become available within the plugin.
Website activation begins from WordPress. You don’t manually enter a website into your Bluvia A/B Testing account dashboard to create the connection.
Your License and Website
Each Bluvia A/B Testing license can be connected to one WordPress website at a time.
Once the Premium Plugin is authenticated, the website is associated with the appropriate available license.
You can view the connection from your Bluvia A/B Testing account, including information about the connected website and license.
If you later want to use that license on another website, you can disconnect the existing website. The license then becomes available to connect again.

After Connecting
Once your website is successfully connected, Premium functionality becomes available within Bluvia A/B Testing in WordPress.
You can continue creating and managing experiments from your WordPress dashboard.
Your Bluvia A/B Testing account dashboard is primarily used for account-level tasks such as:
- Viewing your licenses
- Reviewing connected websites
- Managing subscriptions
- Reviewing payments
- Managing your account information
You don’t need to return to the account dashboard every time you create or manage an experiment.
Having Trouble Connecting?
If you’ve installed the Premium Plugin but Premium functionality isn’t available, confirm that:
- The Premium Plugin is installed and activated.
- You’re authenticating with the correct Bluvia A/B Testing account.
- Your account has an available license.
- The license isn’t currently connected to another website.
- The website connection completed successfully.
